Storyline : Set in the the 1930's, a WWI veteran and war hero, Rannulph , reluctantly agrees to play a game of golf with two of the great golfers of the time - champions Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen . Rannulph had been poised for golf greatness until he became a soldier in the war. Nevertheless, he soon finds the game futile until his caddy, Bagger Vance , teaches him the secret of the authentic golf stroke as well as spiritual guidance which will help him master any challenge and find meaning in life.
